How are we called to be in relationship in this changing world? The creation of beloved community is a learning journey, as we nurture the perspectives and skills that kindle the flame of love, the spirit of this church.
COVID PRECAUTIONS UUCCH is open for Sunday service online and in person for those vaccinated and boosted if eligible, masks are strongly recommended (N95, KN95, KF94), and are available at the door. We are also open for weekday use, following these guidelines. Please do not attend UUCCH events if you are symptomatic or have been in contact with a Covid positive person within the previous five days. We continue to offer virtual services each Sunday at 10:15 am, and many of our other groups and activities are meeting virtually, or in dual platform.
Festivals of Light is a wonderful multigenerational service centered around Faith traditions and Winter Holidays with the message of light (Christmas, Solstice, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more). Join us as we learn how each of these traditions honor the light, and connect to us as Unitarian Universalists. Paula Gribble will lead this service, but you will also hear from many other voices (of all ages), as well as wonderful music. Come and celebrate the light!
We celebrate the season of love with story and song to light the dark with our Christmas Eve service for all ages. Gathered in person and on zoom, we will enjoy a special pageant with our children and youth, along with readings, stories and music to brighten the season with love.
In a new tradition we began last year, we lift our voices in the beauty of the Labyrinth to carol in the frosty air. This is a simple celebration of light in the darkness, joining our voices in beloved music of the season. Music handouts will be provided, and candles for sharing the light. Everyone is welcome, dress for the weather and bring your own chair if you wish to sit.
