Unitarian Universalist memorial services celebrate the life of a loved one who has passed with a service that attempts to celebrate the character and gifts of the person, while also ministering and tending to the needs of the family and friends.

A minister will meet with loved ones in advance to plan the service. Typically, a UU memorial service incorporates readings, music, sharing from family, friends and loved one and, if requested, a eulogy from the minister.

Our minister provides memorial services for members at no cost, although there are charges associated with the use of the space.  We do our best to accommodate requests from non-members for memorial services, and to identify a minister to conduct the service either at UUCCH or at another location.  There is a charge to officiate and host non-member services.  Please contact the Minister directly to inquire about a memorial service.
