Festivals of Light

Festivals of Light is a wonderful multigenerational service centered around Faith traditions and Winter Holidays with the message of light (Christmas, Solstice, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more). Join us as we learn how each of these traditions honor the light, and connect to us as Unitarian Universalists. Paula Gribble will lead this service, but you will also hear from many other voices (of all ages), as well as wonderful music. Come and celebrate the light!

The Gifts of our Offering

For our Fall Music Sunday, we gather in gratitude to share the blessings of our music program. Our music ministry is a gift to those who participate and those to whom we gift our musical offerings. Join us in music-making as we center our singers, ringers, strummers, and drummers.

Remembrance

As we begin Transgender Remembrance Week, we highlight the losses we face due to anti-transgender bigotry and violence. With so many seeking to erase transgender people — sometimes in the most brutal ways possible — it is vitally important that those we lose are remembered, and that we join with community partners like the Kaleidoscope program as allies in the struggle for justice.

Dedication

The Sanctuary is a sacred space, the heart center of this church. We gather in the Sanctuary to celebrate, to mourn, to shape our highest values and deepest commitments. On this day we dedicate this space, built with love and renovated with commitment, giving voice to our gratitude and to our hopes for the future.

On the Threshold

The time of Samhain and All Hallow’s Eve invite us to enter the space between the planes of existence. As the veil thins between this world and the next, we experience the mystery of unknowing and remember those who have gone before us. Halloween costumes are welcome and encouraged!
