Welcoming Church in Cherry Hill Finds New Minister

Rev. Margret A. O’Neall will work with the congregation and the community to promote Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill’s regional leadership role in social and environmental justice. 

CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY- September 7, 2019 The Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill (401 Kings Highway North) has named the Rev. Dr. Margret A. O’Neall as their Developmental Minister, with a 5-year agreement to lead the congregation into the next phase of their vision for the future. The UU Church in Cherry Hill is committed to a leadership role in social and environmental justice, with church staff and members working collaboratively with other faith communities and local organizations in Cherry Hill and the surrounding area to promote shared values and goals for a better world.

Rev. Margret is a Professional Transition Specialist serving Unitarian Universalist churches in times of transition and development. She holds academic degrees in Community Development and Sociology, and earned her Master of Divinity from Meadville-Lombard Theological School. She entered transitional ministry following a 35-year career working in the public and private sectors, and her call to ministry follows her passion for the transformational process that individuals and organizations may engage changing times. Margret has served transitional ministries in Sarasota, FL; Buffalo, NY; Schenectady, NY; and Phoenix, AZ.
