Leadership by Policy

In response to a request for an organizational diagram for Leadership by Policy, the Board of Trustees has created this graphic to illustrate how different church functions are organized. Unlike a traditional business model organizational chart, Leadership by Policy emphasizes collaboration and a systematic approach rather than a hierarchical structure. The Board hopes this graphic will help clarify how the governance and ministerial branches of the church work together to advance UUCCH’s mission, vision, and covenant.

UUCCH Board Policies

In accordance with the shift to Leadership by Policy, the UUCCH Board of Trustees is comprehensively updating the Board Policy Book.  The Board Policy Book is a work in progress, and the first page explains the color coding that indicates which sections are essentially complete and approved, which are in process, and which have yet to be written.  Relevant policies from the former Policy Book have been incorporated into the new document in the appropriate sections, and procedures are being organized into Handbooks for the various areas of church activity.  The link below is to the working version of the Board Policy Book on Drive, so as sections are completed they will be added and made available real-time.
