Summer LFE
Here at UUCCH, we continue with our lifespan faith engagement activities for children throughout the summer with special programming. Summer LFE activities begin on June 07 and will run through August. This program will not meet on July 5th for the holiday weekend. Read more about our programming below.
Youth (Entering Grades 7-12):
Threads of Yggdrasil
Step into The Library of Lore: Threads of Yggdrasil—a drop-in frendly summer tabletop roleplaying adventure where teens don’t just learn Norse mythology… they experience it. Each week is a standalone adventure that teaches a fundamental myth story while they combat forces trying to erase those tales from existence.
Sessions may run longer than service and into fellowship time. We invite parents to give us a little bit of time to wrap things up; parents will be informed when the class time has ended.
Children (Entering Kindergarten- Grade 5):
A Hero’s Journey
This summer, our children will be learning about mythological heroes and heroines from around the world. They’ll hear tales of fantastic feats, craft something to take home each week, and explore the question- what makes someone a hero?
