Faith Engagement Programs
Welcome to the wonderful world of Faith Engagement at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill (UUCCH).
Families of all types and sizes and people of all ages are welcome at UUCCH! It is our hope that everyone will feel accepted here and that children and families know they are a vital part of this congregation.
The mission of the UUCCH Lifespan Faith Engagement Team is to guide and support the congregation in creating a safe and nurturing environment for the exploration of spiritual, ethical, and religious growth. We endeavor to facilitate the intellectual, physical, and relational development for all ages in the congregation. We commit always to carry out this mission through the lens of our Unitarian Universalist Principles and values.
AT A GLANCE – FAITH ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMMING
Some of our programming is age-separated, and sometimes we take the opportunity to connect and be together across the ages. Look for the following distinctions in our listings:
- Nursery – Infants through age 5
- Children – Ages 6 through grade 6
- Youth – Grades 7-12
- Young Adult
- Adult
Sunday morning faith engagement programs are held Sunday morning during the worship service.
For health and safety requirements, all children ad youth must be registered to participate. Children can register here or using a paper form provided at a table in the Commons on Sunday.
Follow the links to learn more about our programming for younger children and our programming for older children and youth.
CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Children and youth are always welcome to attend worship with their family. There is also a window room where you can view the worship and give your little ones some wiggle room. Your children are also welcome to join their peers in their faith engagement programming. Click HERE for the typical Sunday morning schedule. Learn more about children and youth programming here.
ADULT PROGRAMMING
As UUs, we know that ongoing development is a core belief. We offer a variety of engagement opportunities including interactive classes, discussion groups, book studies, body practices, and more. Learn more about adult programming here.
MULTIGENERATIONAL AND FAMILY EVENTS
Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for families to gather and connect in a social setting outside of Sunday mornings. Events and dates are announced in the Newsgram on Tuesdays and Fridays and order of service in worship on Sunday. All are welcome to join in the fun!
- Halloween Party
- Game Night
- Parents’ Night Out
- Holiday Party
