Becoming a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation is an intentional choice, a public commitment that this community is important to you and your spiritual development.  Membership means you acknowledge your willingness to be an active part of this covenantal community; to help others in their lives, and their spiritual and intellectual growth, and to accept a diversity of identities and beliefs without judgment.

The Path of Engagement document explains the stages of Connection and Engagement that prepare you to meet with the minister and make the commitment to become a member.  When you are ready to join the congregation, simply email minister@uucch.org to make an appointment to meet privately with the minister, where you may discuss your interests and explore your questions, complete a new-member information and interest form, make a pledge of financial commitment in an amount suitable to your personal situation, and sign the membership book.

Your public welcome will take place in a new-member recognition ceremony, held on Sunday mornings approximately twice a year, formally welcoming our newest members into the congregation.
