The Music Ministry at UUCCH is a vibrant music program that nourishes the hearts, expands the minds, and enriches the lives of the congregation. Our Music Ministry expands beyond Sunday worship to help us further our mission, grow personally and spiritually, and connect with others.

UUCCH Choir

Natasha Steinmacher, Director. The UUCCH Choir is an integral part of the UUCCH music ministry program, providing music 2-3 Sunday worship services per month. In addition to regular Sunday services, the choir sings at both services on Christmas Eve and prepares special music for our two “All-Music Sundays.” This group will often sing for outreach concerts and join in singing with other choirs in our wider UU denomination. The choir’s eclectic repertoire includes choral classics, contemporary UU, jazz, pop, folk songs, and world music. The UUCCH choir welcomes adult and high school singers who love singing and want to be part of the unique musical community of a choir. There are no auditions; the ability to read music is not required, but a love of music is a must! Contact Natasha Steinmacher, Director of Music Ministry, for more information: music@uucch.org

Rehearsal: Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 pm , Sunday mornings (that we sing) 9:15 am.

UUCCH Pop-Up Choir

The pop-up choir offers singing opportunities with a service-by-service commitment.  Perhaps you long to share of your voice in a music ministry here, but feel unable to make a weekly commitment to the UUCCH Choir or you would like to sing as much as possible. The Pop-up choir rehearses on selected Sundays from 9:15-10 a.m. For more information please contact Natasha Steinmacher, Director of Music Ministry: music@uucch.org

Our Choir, handbells, and UUkulele Band often participate in events beyond Sunday services. Here are a few of the events they have participated in over the past few years.
