April 2023 Split Plate Organizations

For Earth Day, we are sharing our split plate between two local organizations who care for our Earth, Bullock Garden Project and Delware River Keepers. Please see full descriptions for these organizations below.

Bullock Garden Project: The Bullock Garden Project is dedicated to empowering individuals, groups, and organizations, focusing on people within marginalized communities, in creating sustainable agriculture and incorporating garden education through building community sustainability awareness; partnering with community and green industry organizations; strengthening social/emotional development and well-being and nurturing independence through experiential learning and garden-based education; and inspiring future leaders to support green initiatives. www.bullockgardenproject.org

Delaware River Keepers: The Delaware Riverkeeper Network (DRN) champions the rights of our communities to a Delaware River and tributary streams that are free-flowing, clean, healthy, and abundant with a diversity of life. Since our founding in 1988, DRN has grown into a leading environmental organization with the ability to provide effective environmental advocacy, analyze technical studies and agency materials, implement cutting edge scientific studies, and enforce compliance with environmental laws. We work throughout the four states of the Watershed (NY, NJ, PA, and DE) and at the federal level when issues that impact the health of our Watershed play out on a national stage. DRN is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) membership organization. https://www.delawareriverkeeper.org/
