Board Recognition, May, 2023- Policy Work Group
The Policy Work Group, originally named the Policy Task Group, was formed in August 2021 to assist the Board in creating more effective structures and systems for church governance. The 5-member team is composed of members with widely varying backgrounds and experiences in different fields.
They have posed some basic questions: What can we all agree on as a church? What is our mission? How do we build functionality and resilience into church governance to build and sustain our community?
PWG is committed to ensuring the future of the church through structures and systems of accountability that will sustain it financially, nourish connections in our community, and enable our congregation to pursue its mission.
The BOT applauds its vital and on-going work.
