Considering a visit to UUCCH?
We are a congregation of about 250 adults and 60 children conveniently located on 17 beautiful acres in Cherry Hill, NJ. We are a diverse community that supports a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We seek religious insight and understanding from science, art, poetry and philosophy as well as the traditions of the world's great religions.
Our religious community thrives on diversity. Many of our members come from Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu and other religious backgrounds. Our members are single and married, with or without children, gay or straight, and CIS or transgendered. We welcome deists, theists, pantheists, atheists, agnostics, humanists, and earth-centered believers, to name a few.
Sunday Worship Services
Our Sunday Worship Service is at 10:15 am year round. Some Services are led by our minister and some are lay-led, so we invite you to attend more than once to experience a variety of Services. Please use the main entrance which is located directly in front of you as you come up our tree lined driveway. Guest parking is available in identified spots to the right of the driveway. For directions, click here.
Our facilities are handicapped-accessible and our Sanctuary* is equipped for those who require additional auditory amplification.
When you enter the building, you will be warmly greeted and directed to the guest table which is located inside the main entrance. You will receive a visitor’s packet and fill out a name tag. After you are seated in the Sanctuary*, please fill out a guest information card, and place it in the offering basket as it is passed around later in the Service.
After the Service, we encourage you to join us downstairs in Fellowship Hall for refreshments and fellowship. You are welcome to mingle with other congregants, or to sit at the visitors’ table, located near the front of Fellowship Hall. A member of the Board of Trustees will be there to answer any questions that you have.

*Note: for the 2019-2020 year our Sanctuary is under construction and we are meeting downstairs in Fellowship Hall (an elevator is available).
What to Wear
You are welcome to come in whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll find most people wearing casual attire – everything from typical “Friday casual days” wear to jeans and T-shirts. There are also a few who feel more comfortable in a dress or skirt or a coat and tie.
Visiting with Children?
Our congregation supports a full religious education program. Child care is always available for the youngest children up to age three in room C201. As far as Sunday mornings go, you have many options for your family. First, you are always welcome to attend worship together - children may remain in the service with their parents at any time.
UUCCH is in the process of moving away from the traditional "Sunday School Model" for children and youth to the family ministry model. As such, each month our children and youth will have 1 Spiritual Practice Sunday, 1 Social Justice Sunday, 1 Multigenerational Worship, and 1-2 Classroom Sundays. Learn more about Children's Faith Engagement here.
Parents of young children are always welcome to attend their child's class until the child is comfortable being there without them. For safety reasons, all children must either be in the appropriate class or with their parents in the Sanctuary during Sunday morning services.
