Join us -- Monday nights, Room C101, 6:30-8:00 pm

Anne Mackintosh writes: I have had the privilege of being part of Nina's course for a few sessions and want to share some thoughts with you. The title "Non-Violent Communication" does not convey adequately what the course is about, and may even turn you off. So I suggest hearing the title as "Compassionate Communication," working to develop skills so important in today's fractured society. We not only learn the principles of compassionate communication and active listening, but we practice with each other this way of speaking. It's not easy! But I already feel so enriched by what I have learned and practiced, and consider this personally valuable beyond anything I had imagined. So I ask: Why not consider joining this course now, or when Nina offers it in the fall? I'm pretty sure you won't be sorry.
