Nursery / Infant and Toddler Care

If your child is under age 3, we invite you to check out our nursery. Children may be left in the care of our qualified caregivers, or family members may choose to stay with them.

Our nursery offers a bright, clean environment for play, and an out of the way place for parents to calm a crying infant, to nurse, or to do a quick diaper change.

Religious Education (RE) / Sunday School

Here at UUCCH, we feel it is important to instill a thirst for knowledge and learning about religion and spirituality early. Beginning at age 3, we aim to help your child take initiative with their beliefs. Your child will learn:
- About diverse religious backgrounds
- How to develop their own opinions regarding religion and spirituality
- An appreciation for the beliefs of others in their community
- The importance of giving back to the greater community through volunteering and service

This culminates with a Coming of Age ceremony for eighth graders. The goal is for these teens to be able to articulate to the congregation their current beliefs about spirituality, life, death, and what being a Unitarian Universalist means to them.

The next step is the transition to YA!, the partially self-directed youth/adult program for those in grades 9-12.
