So much that is difficult these days...the pandemic, climate change, economic inequalities, corruption in New Jersey politics across both parties and more.  And yet....even while facing a so-called "tsunami of ill tidings," there remains good news to share and life-affirming, love-connecting work that makes life not only worth living--but worth celebrating as well.

May 10: Planting, Nurturing, Growing, Blossoming

Celebrating Flower Communion and Mother’s Day, we honor the natural cycles that nurture life -- birth and rebirth, dreams and realities, growing and changing, budding and blossoming.  Leaving the past behind, we open into new dreams of possibility, sharing the UU story of diversity in community, love across all difference.

May 17: Alleluias for Springtime (All Music Sunday)

In the Christian Tradition, the use of  "Alleluia" is suspended for the Lenten Season, to return again in the Spring at Easter. The Alleluia (or Hallelujah) is a religious song of praise and an expression of joy. In this time of physical distancing, how do we sing our joyous song of celebration when we can't be together? We find new ways to sing songs for the renewal of spring and the resilience of the human spirit.

May 24: Happy Birthday, UUCCH!

On May 25, 1956, this church was “born” and formally accredited by the American Unitarian Association as the Unitarian Fellowship of South Jersey.  Let’s have a Zoom party to celebrate a courageous history and a bright future for this beacon of liberal religion in our community!
