Ancient rituals command a cleansing in the spring – the Persian khaneh tekani before their new year, the Jewish preparation for Passover, the Christian tradition of Lent to prepare for the renewal of life with Easter.  How do we deepen into spring cleaning to prepare for something new to emerge within us? .

April 12: Rolling Back the Stone

As we celebrate Easter and Pesach (Passover), we reflect on the universal themes of rebirth and resurrection, renewal and rejoicing, liberation, healing and wholeness in our common humanity on this precious and vulnerable globe that we call home.

Love is the spirit of this church, and the church spirit resides in all we are, all we do, together – connecting, growing, with the power of transformation flowing through all we do.  We are called to continue making this love a reality, sustaining the vitality of this church to learn, value and serve the world.

April 26: Hope Among the Trees

Nature, like hope, is something we can hold on to in the darkest hours. During these trying days, a walk among the trees can inspire hope and remind us of a brighter future. Nature around us, if embraced and stewarded, will be there for us to offer hope throughout the year, every year.
